About this Blog

I am a pastor and Bible teacher, and it is my intention that everything presented here is done so to the glory of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I firmly believe that the Bible is completely and totally without error, and that it is the only absolute truth. I make it a point to not only know what I believe, but also why I believe it, and the aim of this blog is to help others do the same.

My approach to the Bible is to always start with the most plain and straight forward reading of the text, unless the Bible itself instructs otherwise. I strive to filter everything through the Word of God, and that which contradicts it must be false. I write this blog with those principles in mind.

It is my hope and prayer that what is presented here will lead you into a deeper understanding of Scripture, and a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. I pray that these teachings will strengthen your faith, and allow you to be a more bold witness for Christ. Above all, if you do not know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, I pray that this blog will help lead you into a saving relationship with Him.

Blessings,
David B. Palmer

1 Peter 3:15 NKJV

“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear”

Philippians 1:7 NKJV

“just as it is right for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart, inasmuch as both in my chains and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers with me of grace.”

Philippians 1:17 (NKJV)

but the latter out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel.”

  1. Why no sermon on galations 4:12-20?

    • Good question. I don’t know how I missed posting that. Thank you for calling it to my attention. I see that what I’m actually missing are verses 12-18. I will post my sermon notes later, though I’m pretty sure I no longer have the audio. Thanks again.
